Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-Sen University Masterplan|RMJM

RMJM’s submission for the Sun YatSen University Masterplan was one of the top shortlisted designs in this international competition. Located in Xiangzhou District, considered the cultural center of Zhuhai City, the campus is surrounded by high class educational facilities in the fields of science and technology such as Qinghua Technology Park or Beishida Zhuhai. The area also offers high class accommodation near the university, commercial buildings and leisure complexes.

The campus aims to become a modern high level education institution. To achieve this, RMJM’s design addresses the main issues identified in the development of the campus: the lack of coherence in the architecture styles and the negative impact on Yixian Avenue caused by the heavy traffic.
